Plain-English explainers for what you're looking at — sectors, lineup, scoring, and the stats on each stock card.
Want the full rulebook — including what we deliberately didn't build? See Rules.
Every stock belongs to one of these 5 curated sector positions. Your league plays 4 of them + a FLEX slot. Below: the full set, with a one-line description for each.
Each week you start 5 of your 7 holdings. The other 2 sit on the bench and don't score.
A fictional roster, a real calculation — every number below is computed by the actual scoring engine. The captain (2×) counts double; the 2bench holdings don't count at all.
Every regular-seasonweek resolves a second, independent result: did your team's weekly score beat the S&P 500's Friday→Friday return?
Weekly volatility (% std dev) is a descriptive stat showing how much a stock's weekly return has varied over the past 26 weeks. It is not a tier, score, or ranking — it doesn't tell you whether a stock is "better" or "worse."
We surface it on stock cards and in the draft room so you can compare stocks at a glance. It's a research input, not an advisory signal.
